Scott Township Sewer Hook-up Information
Beginning in the
summer of 2011 many of the homes in Scott Township will be
required to hook up to the new central sewer system. This
hook up will require connecting your home's plumbing to a
Scott Township Sewer Authority supplied grinder pump, and
running a 1.25 inch pipe from that pump to the curb stop
installed at the edge of your property. Also, homeowners
will be required to install a 240 electrical circuit to
power the pump, and they will be required to fill in their
old septic tank with sand or dirt.
All of this work must be performed by someone who attended
an E-One training class performed by the Scott Township
Sewer Authority.
The cost of this work will be the responsibility of the
homeowner.
Stan Stracham is certified by the sewer authority to perform
the grinder pump installation, and will accept credit cards
as payment for this installation.
